Trump challenges Biden to another debate and a golf match ‘to redeem himself’

Former President Trump issued a challenge to President Biden on Tuesday, proposing a debate and an 18-hole golf match as opportunities for Biden to redeem himself following a widely criticized debate performance on June 27.

Trump made the offer at a rally in Doral, Fla., suggesting a debate without moderators and a golf match to settle their differences.

However, Biden’s current schedule, attending the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., followed by campaign events in Detroit, makes immediate participation impractical.

The two are already scheduled for a second debate in September, which Biden’s campaign has confirmed he will attend, The Hill has reported.

Trump also referenced a previous exchange where Biden questioned his ability to physically handle a golf match, a challenge Trump appears eager to accept.
