Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (OH) called for President Joe Biden to resign from office in a Saturday X post.

Vance criticized those urging Biden to drop out of the presidential race without also demanding his resignation, stating, “If you can’t run, you can’t serve. He should resign now.”

This demand comes amid growing pressure for Biden to exit the race, with about two-thirds of Democrats in a recent poll suggesting he should step aside, Breitbart News has reported.

Additionally, reports from Biden’s inner circle and allies indicate they believe he has little chance of winning, following his poor debate performance against Trump in June.
