Dozens killed in strikes in Gaza while Tel Aviv-area stabbing leaves 2 dead

Israeli airstrikes on two Gaza schools on Sunday killed over 30 people, amid rising Middle East tensions and fears of a broader conflict between Israel and Iran.

The strikes targeted Hassan Salama and Nasser schools, where thousands of displaced Gazans were sheltering, leaving at least 30 dead and 16 missing.

This escalation follows Israel’s killing of Hamas leaders in Tehran and Beirut, prompting Iranian threats of revenge and increased Hezbollah attacks on Israel.

Meanwhile, a West Bank Palestinian man killed two Israelis in a Tel Aviv suburb, The Hill has reported.

The U.S. has deployed military assets to the region to support Israel and deter potential threats.
