Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) dismissed criticism from both parties about being the “wrong pick” for Donald Trump’s running mate, calling it a “badge of honor.”

On Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Vance responded to host Maria Bartiromo’s question about the criticism by acknowledging opposition from the GOP establishment and the far left.

He argued that the media attacks those who pose the greatest threat to their agenda.

Vance highlighted his humble upbringing, military service, and relatable story, stating that “normal” Americans can empathize with his background, The Hill has reported.

He suggested that insiders dislike him because he aims to address and fix the issues they have created.
