Jimmy Carter sets sights on voting for Harris

Former US President Jimmy Carter, who will turn 100 on October 1, has expressed a secondary motivation for reaching this milestone: voting for Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

Despite entering hospice care in February 2023, Carter has defied expectations and continues to show interest in politics.

His grandson, Jason Carter, mentioned that Carter recently shared his determination to vote for Harris with his son Chip, the AFP has reported.

As the longest-living president in US history, Carter remains engaged, with Georgia’s early voting period allowing him to vote as soon as October 15.
