Vice President Kamala Harris is set to announce her vice presidential pick on Tuesday, before their first rally together in Philadelphia that evening.
This timing might change based on her final decision or potential media leaks. The announcement will likely include digital videos, social media, and a fundraising appeal, along with text messages to supporters.
Harris recently met with top contenders, including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Sen. Mark Kelly, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Other candidates considered are Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder led the vetting process, NBC News has reported.
Harris seeks a running mate comfortable with her leadership and willing to take on challenging tasks, ensuring loyalty and support, especially among key voter demographics.
