Seven U.S. personnel were injured in a suspected rocket attack on U.S. and Coalition forces at Al-Assad Air Base in western Iraq.
The injured include five U.S. service members and two U.S. contractors, all of whom are in stable condition.
Five are being treated at the air base, while two have been evacuated for further care.
Two rockets were confirmed to have been launched at the base, ABC News has reported.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were briefed on the attack amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Post-strike assessments are ongoing.
