Nine people, including six children, died after a vehicle overturned in a Florida canal on Monday evening. The incident occurred near Belle Glade in Palm Beach County.

A lone survivor, 26-year-old Jorden Hall, remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

The vehicle went off Hatton Highway, hit a guardrail, and overturned in the canal. Four victims died at the scene, and five others died in the hospital, ABC News has reported.

The deceased included a 1-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, two 5-year-old boys, an 8-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy, and three women aged 21, 30, and 56. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
