Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate for the upcoming election against Donald Trump and JD Vance.

The Harris campaign announced that Harris and Walz will travel across the country, highlighting their vision for progress compared to their opponents.

They will start their tour in Philadelphia and visit seven key battleground states, ABC News has reported.

Walz’s background as a Midwesterner and gun owner, advocating for stronger gun violence measures, is a key focus of their campaign.

Meanwhile, Vance will also be visiting the battleground states this week.
