One person is dead, and three others are hospitalized following a shooting at a condo in east Colorado Springs.

Police responded to the Sandcreek Commons Condos after reports of gunshots around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, finding three victims with gunshot wounds.

A fourth victim was later found at a nearby convenience store. Authorities believe all four individuals were connected and that the shooting was not random, KKTV CBS 11 has reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
