Former President Donald Trump announced a plan to combat inflation by cutting energy prices in half, securing borders, bringing supply chains back to the U.S., and reducing regulatory burdens.

Speaking in Asheville, North Carolina, Trump criticized the Biden-Harris administration’s energy policies, which he claims have fueled inflation.

He vowed to reverse these policies, halt electric vehicle mandates, and impose tariffs of 10-20% on imports from countries he accused of exploiting the U.S.

Trump also promised to end taxes on Social Security benefits and tips, and to restore home affordability by addressing illegal immigration, Breitbart News has reported.

He framed his proposals as a way to bring prosperity, lower prices, and revitalize the American dream.
