Self-guiding robots are making athletic field preparation easier

Turf Tank is revolutionizing sports field preparation with its robots that significantly reduce the time required to paint lines, numbers, and other markings for game day.

Bearden High School in East Tennessee is among the schools using these robots, which have transformed their field usage.

The robots allow coaches to save time, enabling them to focus more on training their players.

The head of Bearden’s booster club, Robert Lebus, highlighted how the robot has made it possible to mark their practice field accurately, enhancing coaching capabilities.

Turf Tank, which began supplying these robots nearly a decade ago, aims to simplify field preparation for coaches and players, WVLT 8 has reported.

The company currently has about 20 robots in East Tennessee and offers leasing options to make the technology more accessible.
