Trump Pledges Creation of Commission on Presidential Assassination Attempts

At a rally in Glendale, Arizona, former President Donald Trump announced his plan to create a commission on presidential assassination attempts if he wins the upcoming election.

The commission would honor Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who joined Trump on stage at the event.

Trump referenced his own recent assassination attempt in Pennsylvania and praised Kennedy for his resilience, noting that Kennedy’s father and uncle were both assassinated.

The commission would also focus on releasing the remaining documents related to President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, Breitbart News has reported.

Earlier in the day, Kennedy, who recently suspended his independent presidential campaign, endorsed Trump in battleground states while encouraging voters in blue states to support his candidacy.

Trump lauded Kennedy’s campaign for inspiring Americans and raising important issues.
