Russia strikes Ukraine’s power grid in ‘most massive’ attack of war

Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing over 200 missiles and drones, killing seven people and targeting energy facilities across the country, according to Kyiv.

The assault caused widespread power and water outages, particularly in Kyiv, as Russia intensified its strikes on critical infrastructure.

Ukrainian forces managed to down a significant number of missiles and drones, but the attack was described as “the most massive” of the war by Ukraine’s Air Force Commander.

U.S. President Joe Biden condemned the strikes, pledging continued support to repair Ukraine’s energy grid, Reuters reported.

Meanwhile, Ukraine claimed new ground in Russia’s Kursk region, while Russian forces advanced toward the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk.
