A fourth person was arrested in connection with the ambush shooting that killed 21-year-old Asia Poole at the Monarch Ridge Apartments last week.

Aacoreyah Denae Woods, 20, was charged with murder, attempted murder, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.

Previously, a teen and two men—Ja’niyah Hendrix, Justin Hendrix, and Taylor McCloud—were also arrested, with charges ranging from theft to murder.

The incident involved 168 shots fired after a fistfight between Poole and another woman, resulting in extensive damage to cars and apartment buildings, WVTM 13 has reported.

Residents, fearing retaliation, described the shooting as an ambush and expressed concerns over escalating gun violence.
