Big ‘planetary parade’ will see 6 planets line

Stargazers can enjoy a rare planetary alignment this week, with several planets visible just before sunrise on Wednesday.

This “planetary parade” will feature Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn, all gathered closely on one side of the Sun.

While Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye, spotting Mercury may be challenging due to its proximity to the horizon.

Telescopes or binoculars will be needed to see Neptune and Uranus. The best viewing experience will be away from city lights.

Saturn will be visible first in the constellation Aquarius, followed by Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Mars, and finally, Mercury at dawn, Chron has reported.

The last planetary alignment occurred during the April 8 solar eclipse, with the next major one expected on January 17, 2025.
