Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, an Israeli defense technology company, reported a record backlog of orders worth NIS 59 billion at the end of Q2, with notable growth in the Americas and a slight decline in Israeli sales.
The company’s Q2 revenue increased by 25% year-over-year to NIS 3.9 billion, with new orders rising to NIS 6.4 billion.
Since the start of the year, Rafael has hired over 1,100 employees, focusing heavily on development, Globes has reported.
CEO Yoav Tourgeman highlighted the upcoming operational deployment of the Iron Beam laser-based air defense system and the growing global interest in Rafael’s Spike anti-tank missile series, which is active in 41 countries.
