The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the U.S. Space Force are working to enhance their collaboration in collecting and distributing space-based intelligence to global military users.
With a push for faster access to commercial satellite images in rapidly changing scenarios, Space Force operators are now stationed at NGA’s Springfield, Virginia campus to address issues such as satellite tasking and tracking moving targets.
The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and NGA have faced criticism from Congress for not meeting military demands for tactical intelligence, Space News has reported.
