Biden trashes Trump in Wisconsin visit, comparing himself to FDR, Eisenhower for infrastructure investments

President Joe Biden visited western Wisconsin to promote his infrastructure and energy initiatives, including $7.3 billion in grants for rural electric co-ops, calling it the largest investment in rural electrification since the New Deal.

During his visit, Biden also highlighted his efforts to modernize transportation, comparing himself to past presidents like Eisenhower.

Critics argue that the federal requirements for these projects, such as prevailing wage rules, could inflate costs and disadvantage merit-based contractors, the New York Post has reported.

Wisconsin’s right-to-work status means that union membership is voluntary, and some local contractors feel the regulations hinder their ability to compete.
