Israeli forces have withdrawn from Jenin city and its refugee camp in the West Bank after a major nine-day operation targeting militants.
At least 36 Palestinians, including children, and one Israeli soldier were killed during intense battles involving ground forces and airstrikes.
The operation, one of the largest in years, involved hundreds of troops, leading to severe damage and disruption in Jenin, where utilities were cut and residents confined to their homes.
The Israeli military claims to have dismantled numerous terror sites, including weapon storage facilities and explosives labs, the BBC has reported.
The escalation is part of a broader surge in violence in the West Bank since the war in Gaza began.
