Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s strong support for Ukraine during a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky at the TEHA business forum on Lake Como.

They discussed Ukraine’s plans for ending the war with Russia and future reconstruction efforts.

Meloni emphasized Italy’s commitment to Ukraine as both a moral and national interest and highlighted the importance of continued Western support.

She also noted that China and India have roles to play in resolving the conflict, the South China Morning Post has reported.

Zelensky, who met with Italian business leaders and previewed next year’s reconstruction conference, stressed the need for unwavering ally support to strengthen Ukraine’s position in future negotiations.
