US and UK spy chiefs praise Ukraine’s ‘audacious’ Russia incursion and call for a Gaza cease-fire

The heads of MI6 and the CIA praised Ukraine’s surprise offensive in Russia’s Kursk region as a significant achievement that exposes Russian military vulnerabilities.

The operation reclaimed 1,300 square kilometers and brought the war to ordinary Russians.

They urged Western allies not to be intimidated by Russian threats of escalation, despite concerns about risks, including potential nuclear use.

The intelligence chiefs also warned of deepening defense ties between Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, the Associated Press has reported.

They emphasized the importance of Western unity in facing these threats, with upcoming diplomatic talks set to address Ukraine, Gaza, and China.
