Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump shook hands at the 9/11 anniversary ceremony in Manhattan.

This handshake followed their first meeting at a presidential debate the night before, breaking an eight-year tradition of no handshakes at debates.

On 9/11, Biden and Harris attended ceremonies at Ground Zero, Shanksville, and the Pentagon, while Trump also visited Shanksville, ABC News has reported.

Biden reflected on the resilience and unity demonstrated in the aftermath of the attacks, emphasizing a continued commitment to national security.
