Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called on the Biden administration to prevent Ukraine from using American-supplied long-range weapons to target Russian territory, warning against the dangers of escalating the conflict.
Kennedy, who recently ended his independent presidential campaign to support Donald Trump, shared concerns about the impact of such actions on the war’s dynamics.
Analysts argue that these weapons would not significantly enhance Ukraine’s chances of victory, given Russia’s advantages in population and military resources.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky advocates for long-range capabilities to defend his country, Newsweek has reported.
Following discussions between U.S. and U.K. leaders, no final decision on the use of these weapons has been made, but NATO allies Sweden and Finland have indicated support for Ukraine’s use of long-range strikes.
