Former President Donald Trump has blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for a recent assassination attempt against him at his West Palm Beach golf club, marking the second such incident since a near-fatal shooting in Pennsylvania in July.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Trump claimed that the gunman was influenced by the “highly inflammatory language” of the Democratic leaders, asserting, “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at.”

He criticized Biden and Harris for labeling him a “threat to democracy,” arguing they are actually undermining the country, Mediaite has reported.

Authorities are investigating the suspected gunman, who has a history of gun-related charges, as well as his social media remarks expressing disappointment with Trump’s presidency.
