Harris refuses to veer off script in her second high-profile interview

In a Tuesday interview with the National Association of Black Journalists, Vice President Kamala Harris largely adhered to prepared talking points and avoided diverging from the Biden administration’s positions.

Addressing contentious issues like the Gaza conflict and reparations, Harris focused on abortion rights and condemned former President Donald Trump’s claims about Haitian immigrants.

She also reaffirmed her support for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and backed a two-state solution, Politico has reported.

While Harris engaged with questions on various topics, she did not substantially challenge Biden’s policies, highlighting the complexities of her dual role as vice president and presidential candidate.
