Hezbollah has vowed retaliation after a coordinated attack involving exploding pagers killed at least nine people and injured nearly 3,000 across Lebanon, including Hezbollah fighters and civilians.

The attack occurred amid heightened tensions with Israel, following its expanded war efforts against both Hamas and Hezbollah.

The explosions primarily targeted Hezbollah members, with Israeli media speculating Mossad’s involvement.

This escalation has intensified fears of a broader regional conflict, threatening US-led peace efforts in the Middle East, The Guardian has reported.

Hezbollah accused Israel of aggression and promised “just punishment” in response.
