Sean “Diddy” Combs has been charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting for prostitution, according to an indictment by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Combs was arrested in New York following federal raids that uncovered weapons, evidence of crimes, and over 1,000 bottles of lubricant.
Prosecutors allege Combs ran a “criminal enterprise” involving kidnapping, arson, and forced labor.
He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail, USA Today has reported.
Combs’ attorney argued the sexual activity was consensual, calling the prosecution unjust. Authorities credit victims and witnesses for coming forward.
