Israeli officials urged residents in northern Israel to stay indoors or near bomb shelters after the Israeli Air Force targeted hundreds of Hezbollah military sites in Lebanon.
The strikes aimed at around 100 launchers and approximately 1,000 barrels believed to be ready for imminent use against Israel.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah called the attacks a “severe blow” and threatened retaliation, while Hezbollah conducted strikes in northern Israel, resulting in two Israeli soldiers’ deaths.
The escalating conflict raises fears of an all-out war, with both sides suffering casualties and ongoing exchanges of fire, Fox News has reported.
Israeli leaders warned of further military actions against Hezbollah to ensure safety for residents near the border.
