Ukraine reported an overnight strike on a weapons stockpile in Russia’s Volgograd region, potentially targeting newly arrived missiles from Iran.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed to have hit the cache near Kotluban, with indications of fire and ammunition detonation observed at the site.
Unverified social media footage showed a significant blaze.
Russia’s defense ministry noted it faced a swarm of 125 Ukrainian drones but did not confirm specific damage.
This follows previous claims by Kyiv of successful strikes on Russian arms sites far from the border.
Meanwhile, Ukraine also endured drone attacks, particularly in Zaporizhzhia, injuring at least 13 people and damaging buildings, reported by BNN Bloomberg.
Iran has denied allegations of supplying weapons to Russia.
