Harris says it’s ‘not the 1950s anymore’ in dismissing criticism over not having biological children

Kamala Harris expressed sympathy for Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who previously criticized the vice president for not having biological children, suggesting this meant Harris lacked humility.

On the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Harris emphasized that many women do not aspire to be humble and have love and family in various forms.

She mentioned her two stepchildren, Cole and Ella Emhoff, referring to them as “Momala.”

Harris countered Sanders’ comments, stating that family comes in many forms and that her relationships are a blessing.

Sanders had claimed her children keep her grounded, echoing similar sentiments from other Republicans, CNN has reported.

Harris’s podcast appearance is part of a broader media strategy leading up to the election, with upcoming interviews on various prominent shows.
