Russia has captured its second town in Ukraine’s Donetsk region within a week, seizing Hrodivka following Vuhledar. Ukrainian forces report over 150 daily assaults across the front.

Russia’s air campaign has intensified, with President Zelenskyy stating that Russia dropped 800 glide bombs and launched 400 drones and 20 missiles last week.

Zelenskyy urged allies to provide long-range weapons to counter Russia’s airstrikes, Al-Jazeera has reported.

Meanwhile, Ukraine claimed a successful defense in Kharkiv, where a Russian assault led to more deaths than injuries, highlighting the battle’s intensity. Russia has warned of severe consequences if Ukraine is allowed to strike inside Russia.
