Trump promises ‘readjustments’ to make taxes ‘fair to everybody’ in town hall

During a town hall meeting with Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner, former President Donald Trump discussed plans for “readjustments” to the tax code to ensure fairness for all, responding to concerns from attendees, including a single mother who reported a significant decrease in her child tax credit.

Trump emphasized the tax cuts he enacted during his presidency and acknowledged the need for adjustments to benefit struggling families.

He also addressed abortion, reiterating his stance that the issue should be handled at the state level and supporting exceptions for cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother.

Trump further stated his commitment to ending sanctuary cities in response to questions about migrant crime, the Washington Examiner has reported.

The full town hall will air on The Faulkner Focus on Wednesday.
