Israel is reportedly planning airstrikes targeting Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Basij paramilitary force in retaliation for a recent missile attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted that such strikes could weaken the Iranian regime, expressing support for the Iranian people in a video statement.
Israeli officials, including Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, have warned that the retaliation will be deadly and unexpected, the Daily Mail has reported.
Despite the missile strike causing no casualties, Israel aims to send a strong message. Iran, meanwhile, has vowed to strengthen its resistance.
