The National Weather Service recorded 5.78 inches of rain on Saturday, breaking a 122-year-old daily record.
Rescue efforts continue as more rain is expected, with 57 guard members deployed and equipped with vehicles capable of navigating 4 feet of water, The Guardian has reported.
