Axiom Space and Prada have unveiled the design of the AxEMU spacesuit for NASA’s Artemis III mission at the International Astronautical Congress.

The collaboration blends Prada’s expertise in materials and design with Axiom’s engineering to create a next-gen spacesuit for lunar exploration.

The AxEMU suit, featuring advanced technologies for flexibility, safety, and temperature protection, will allow astronauts to explore the moon’s south pole, Axiom Space has reported.

The spacesuit, adaptable for future missions, has undergone extensive testing and is nearing final development, with a critical design review set for 2025.
