On MSNBC’s “Inside” Sunday, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) stated that it is not an overstatement to label former President Donald Trump as a fascist.

He described Trump as “weakness masquerading as strength” and expressed concern over his increasingly erratic behavior.

Newsom criticized Trump’s rhetoric, comparing it to that of the Harris campaign and highlighted Trump’s declaration of wanting to be a dictator on his first day in office as indicative of fascist tendencies, Breitbart News has reported.

He acknowledged the term “fascism” is loaded but maintained it is a fair assessment based on definitions of dictatorship and authoritarianism.
