As Halloween approaches, one of the world’s most haunted locations is in Georgia: Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
Ranked as the No. 7 “World’s Most Haunted Hotspots” by Planet Cruise, the cemetery was established in 1846 and sits on the former Bonaventure Plantation site.
The city acquired it in 1907 and it features in the book and film “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,” WSB-TV 2 has reported.
Visitors can explore the cemetery daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free guided tours available on the second Saturday and Sunday of each month at 2 p.m., limited to 30 people.
