Joshua Dairen, owner of “The Coffee Shop” in Opelika, Alabama, claims his business is haunted by a Civil War soldier.

Since buying the shop in April 2023, he’s reported strange sounds, phantom footsteps, and shadowy apparitions.

A staff member allegedly saw a soldier’s figure, and Dairen shared video footage showing her reaction.

Mysterious boot prints and other odd events have led him to believe a Confederate soldier haunts the shop, as Opelika was once a supply depot during the Civil War, Fox News has reported.

Despite the eerie happenings, Dairen says the ghost hasn’t been threatening.
