A criminal investigation is underway in Pennsylvania after Lancaster County election officials flagged about 2,500 suspicious voter registration forms with false or inconsistent details.
Two other counties have been alerted to check for similar issues. Lancaster County DA Heather Adams suspects an organized fraud effort but notes the probe is ongoing.
The flagged forms are isolated to prevent invalid ballots, WHYY has reported.
Officials commend election workers for identifying the issue in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, where the investigation continues.
