A federal grand jury in New York is currently investigating Sean “Diddy” Combs, with new evidence being presented this week.
An attorney confirmed that a male client is set to testify before the grand jury.
Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, with his legal team appealing his detention.
He faces multiple civil lawsuits, including two recent cases alleging sexual assault of minors in 2005 and 2008, which he denies, NBC News has reported.
Combs’s legal team claims the lawsuits are motivated by media attention rather than truth, asserting confidence in the judicial process.
The upcoming trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
