Ex-Pentagon official Luis Elizondo, known for revealing a $22 million government UFO program, presented a photo of a purported UFO “mothership” during a private Philadelphia event.
He claimed the image, which he described as a “mini city floating in the sky,” was captured in Romania in 2022 near the US Embassy.
However, skeptics quickly traced the photo to a Facebook group, identifying it as a chandelier reflection rather than a UFO.
Critics, including former USAF Staff Sergeant Jeremy McGowan, accused Elizondo of exaggerating and misrepresenting information to support his paid speaking engagements, the Daily Mail has reported.
Elizondo attributed the error to a government source, though doubts persist about his credibility in the UFO community.
