An 18-year-old Donald Trump supporter, Caleb James Williams, was arrested in Florida after allegedly threatening Kamala Harris supporters with a machete outside a polling place.
Williams was part of a group at the Beaches Branch Library in Neptune Beach, where tensions escalated during a confrontation with opposing political supporters.
He faces charges of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor exhibition of a dangerous weapon, specifically against two women aged 71 and 54.
The incident has raised concerns among local officials about voter intimidation, especially as early voting continues amid heightened political tensions, NBC News has reported.
Other incidents of voter intimidation have also been reported in various states.
