The strikes followed a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and U.S. officials, in which Israel emphasized the need to neutralize threats from Lebanon.
Over 2,800 people have been killed in Lebanon amid escalating violence, The Hill has reported.
Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati criticized Israel’s actions, while the WHO expressed concern over attacks on health workers and facilities.
