Humanitarian access is severely restricted, leaving essential supplies scarce, and aid workers unsafe.

U.S. officials are pressing Israel to allow more aid to reach Palestinians, with USAID Administrator Samantha Power voicing urgent concerns over the humanitarian situation, U.S. News & World Report has reported.

If Israel does not act to alleviate the crisis, it may face potential restrictions on U.S. military assistance, per a recent letter from Washington.
