GOP Chairman Michael Whatley criticized local officials for not allowing poll observers and for opening election offices at the last minute, which he argues undermines public trust.
A judge ruled against the GOP, but they plan to appeal. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger stated that the law allows counties to accept absentee ballots in person if they choose, the Washington Examiner has reported.
