Trump expresses tentative support for RFK Jr.’s plan to remove fluoride from water supply

Former President Trump expressed cautious support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s plan to remove fluoride from public water, stating, “it sounds OK to me.”

Kennedy, who suspended his presidential campaign in August to endorse Trump, claimed that if Trump wins the election, his administration would advise removing fluoride due to alleged health risks.

This follows Kennedy’s history of promoting unfounded health conspiracies, including anti-vaccine theories.

While Trump has not confirmed whether Kennedy would join his Cabinet, Kennedy claims Trump promised him a significant role in public health, advocating for reforms in agencies like the CDC and HHS, The Hill has reported.

The CDC, however, maintains that fluoride is beneficial for dental health and has significantly reduced cavities over the past century.
