Trump has big plans for ‘day one’ on immigration, energy and more

President-elect Trump has pledged to implement sweeping changes on his first day in office, focusing on immigration, energy, and foreign policy.

He aims to resume construction of the border wall, launch a large-scale deportation initiative, and end birthright citizenship by executive order.

Trump plans to roll back Biden-era environmental regulations, ramp up oil production, and halt windmill projects.

In foreign policy, he vows to shift to an “America First” approach, including reassessing NATO commitments and ending U.S. support for Ukraine, The Hill has reported.

Trump has also promised to remove protections for transgender youth, fire the special counsel prosecuting him, and pardon January 6th defendants.
