After President-elect Donald Trump was declared the winner of the 2024 election, both Republicans and some Democrats raised doubts about the vote count.
Republicans pointed to a sharp drop in Democratic votes compared to 2020 as evidence of fraud, while some left-leaning voices suggested millions of votes were “missing,” despite reassurances from federal agencies about the election’s security.
Both sides used social media to spread there theories about the election, with Republicans and Democrats circulating claims of interference or irregularities.
However, election officials found no evidence of malicious activity impacting the election, DNYUZ has reported.
Despite the conspiracy theories, Democratic leaders, including Vice President Kamala Harris, accepted the results, as did president-elect Donald Trump.
