Pakistan railway bomb blast kills at least 25

At least 25 people were killed and dozens more injured in a bomb explosion at a railway station in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, as a morning train was about to depart.

The Balochistan Liberation Army, a separatist militant group, claimed responsibility for the suicide attack, targeting a military unit returning from training.

The blast, caused by a suicide bomber with 6-8kg of explosives, also killed 14 soldiers.

The attack highlights ongoing tensions in the region, where separatist groups seek independence and control over local resources, the BBC has reported.

Authorities have condemned the act, and the search for perpetrators continues.
